BACKGROUNDDean and Mary Kay Thie were the perfect example of a great Catholic family. Not only did they have 10 children, there was never any doubt that they would attend Catholic schools. The importance of the Catholic faith and a commitment to Catholic education was passed on to their children. Understanding the difficulty today of having a large family and being able to afford Catholic education, the Thie children established this fund in memory of their parents.
