FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What is a transcript?
A transcript is a copy of the permanent academic (educational) record. It becomes an official transcript when the seal of the school is affixed and the signature of an authorized person is appended. Transcripts do not include accommodation plans or discipline records.
How do I order a transcript?
O'Gorman High School has partnered with Parchment to order and send your transcript securely. Please click the Transcript Order Form link above to be redirected to our Parchment ordering page.
How long does it take to process?
Transcripts will be sent out within 2 working days during the school year and twice per week during summer break. Please allow sufficient time to meet your deadlines as our office observes school and holiday breaks.
How much do they cost?
Transcripts are $2.00 each for current students and $5.00 each for graduates.
What will be included on my transcript?
All courses completed at O’Gorman High School as well as courses dropped after the withdrawal date (noted as a “W”) appear on your transcript. Courses transferred from other high schools and courses taken during middle school for high school credit are also noted. Starting with the class of 2024, ACT scores will not be included on the transcript. Previous graduating classes will have their ACT scores listed if they were reported to OGHS.
To what address should I send the transcript?
Many schools or businesses require transcripts be sent directly to them to be considered official. Please consult with the party requesting your transcript to determine where it should go or any specific instructions they require.
